We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well established client based in Norwich, for a temporary Maintenance Operative. The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, 10am - 3pm, paying £13.50 per hour.
The role will include:
- Keeping the site clean and tidy
- Emptying all bins and ensuring they are clean, hygienic, and properly maintained
- Carrying out weed control across paved and landscaped areas
- Cutting grass in designated green spaces
- Strimming lawns, trimming shrubs and maintaining plant areas
- Clearing fallen leaves
- Basic Repairs: Carrying out minor DIY repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing broken fences, or painting over damage
- Monitoring site perimeter and identifying hazards
The ideal candidate will need:
- Willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a ground maintenance/handyman role
- Basic Health Handheld Knapsack Sprayer
- Lantra Ride on and Push Mowers
- Lantra Brushcutter/Strimmer
