We are seeking an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join a well-established organisation supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) across 11 residential homes in South Wales. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with care teams, supporting therapeutic practice and improving outcomes for young people in residential settings.
The Role
- Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention across multiple EBD residential homes
- Support and advise care staff and managers on trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches
- Contribute to care planning, risk management, and therapeutic strategies
- Work collaboratively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
- Travel between services as required
Requirements
- HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally within EBD or residential care settings
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
