We are seeking an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join a well-established organisation supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) across 11 residential homes in South Wales. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with care teams, supporting therapeutic practice and improving outcomes for young people in residential settings.

The Role

  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention across multiple EBD residential homes
  • Support and advise care staff and managers on trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches
  • Contribute to care planning, risk management, and therapeutic strategies
  • Work collaboratively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team
  • Travel between services as required

Requirements

  • HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience working with children and young people, ideally within EBD or residential care settings
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
