We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Adult Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) service, supporting adults with complex physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. This hybrid role combines community-based work across the Manchester area with flexible home working.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation, contributing to clinical leadership and service development within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for adults with acquired brain injury
  • Manage a complex community-based caseload, including cognitive, functional, and vocational rehabilitation
  • Develop and review goal-led rehabilitation programmes in collaboration with service users and families
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and support to junior staff and students
  • Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and external agencies
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Significant post-qualification experience in adult ABI or neurological rehabilitation
  • Ability to work autonomously in community and hybrid settings
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for community work)
