We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Adult Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) service, supporting adults with complex physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. This hybrid role combines community-based work across the Manchester area with flexible home working.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation, contributing to clinical leadership and service development within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for adults with acquired brain injury
- Manage a complex community-based caseload, including cognitive, functional, and vocational rehabilitation
- Develop and review goal-led rehabilitation programmes in collaboration with service users and families
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and support to junior staff and students
- Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and external agencies
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Significant post-qualification experience in adult ABI or neurological rehabilitation
- Ability to work autonomously in community and hybrid settings
- Full UK driving licence (essential for community work)
