About the Role
As the Lead Paediatric Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for a caseload of children with complex medical needs, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered safely and effectively. Working within a hybrid model, you will balance clinical, operational, and leadership responsibilities, supporting care teams, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and liaising with multidisciplinary professionals and family members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality complex care services for children and young people.
- Conduct clinical assessments, reviews, and risk assessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and training to care teams.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Build strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in regular quality assurance audits and service improvement initiatives.
- Support with service development and contribute to the growth of the complex care division.
