We are recruiting an experienced Senior Clinical Educator (RMN) to provide clinical education, leadership, and practice development across services supporting adults with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), learning difficulties, autism, and mental health needs. This is a remote role, working primarily from home, with national travel to community‑based and hospital services to support teams, deliver training, and embed high‑quality, trauma‑informed practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and embed trauma‑informed clinical education across services
- Provide mentoring and coaching in practice to nursing and multidisciplinary teams
- Design and deliver post‑graduate level teaching, training, and education programmes
- Support high‑quality care across community and hospital settings
- Act as a clinical leader for risk assessment, risk management, and clinical decision‑making
- Provide expert input into safeguarding (children and adults)
- Support leadership teams with clinical governance, standards, and best practice
- Contribute to service development, learning culture, and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration
- Significant experience working with ABI, learning difficulties, autism, and mental health
- Strong background in trauma‑informed practice
- Experience in both community‑based and hospital environments
- Proven experience in mentoring, supervising, and developing clinical staff
- Experience delivering formal training or post‑graduate level education
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding children and adults
- Confident in risk management and clinical leadership
- Demonstrable leadership and management experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
