We're recruiting on behalf of a growing care provider for an experienced Dementia Lead to join a welcoming and well-established nursing home in Cheshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dementia specialist, senior carer, team leader or care professional looking to take the next step in their career and make a genuine impact on resident wellbeing.
As Dementia Lead, you'll be the driving force behind dementia care within the home, supporting the Home Manager to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. You'll champion best practice, develop the team, support families, and help create an environment where residents can thrive. This is a predominantly supernumerary position, with some shifts working directly alongside the care team and additional hands-on support provided as required.
About You
- Experience supporting people living with dementia within a care home setting
- Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring care teams
- A relevant Health Social Care qualification (Level 3 or above)
- A passion for delivering high-quality care
