We are recruiting for a Lead Creative Therapist to join a secondary school in London, supporting young people through creative therapeutic approaches including art, drama, and music. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop creative therapy provision within an educational setting, working closely with students, staff, and external professionals to support emotional wellbeing and engagement.
The Role
- Lead and deliver creative therapy interventions (art, drama, and/or music) to secondary school students
- Develop and oversee creative therapy programmes across the school
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral services
- Carry out assessment, planning, and review of therapeutic outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to staff around creative and therapeutic approaches
Requirements
- Qualified Creative Therapist (Art, Drama, or Music Therapy)
- Relevant professional registration where applicable
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally within a school or education setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
