We are seeking an experienced nurse who can confidently make independent decisions while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. About the Nursing Home: Located in the beautiful city of Manchester, our Nursing Home is nestled in its own grounds and provides residential, nursing, and palliative care to 60 residents. The Home has received a good rating across all inspected categories from the CQC.

Responsibilities of the Unit Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home include:
- Taking charge of leading, directing, and supporting the Nursing and Care team
- Managing staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all times
- Actively recruiting and maintaining optimal staffing levels
- Mentoring junior staff members
- Ensuring completion of mandatory and required training for all staff
- Conducting staff supervisions and appraisals
- Ensuring compliance with CQC and internal policies within the Unit
- Managing and monitoring medication processes and compliance
- Conducting relevant audits to ensure internal and external compliance
Requirements for the Unit Nurse Manager role:
- Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN)
