We are currently seeking a highly skilled RGN/RMN Staff Nurse to join our compassionate team of caregivers in a UK nursing home. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our elderly residents while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care and support to residents, which includes administering medication and communicating with healthcare professionals as necessary
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized care plans for each resident
- Supervising and managing care assistants and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible care for residents
- Following all policies and procedures to provide person-centered care
- Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required
- Managing emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift
Key Requirements:
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
