About the job

We are currently seeking a highly skilled RGN/RMN Staff Nurse to join our compassionate team of caregivers in a UK nursing home. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our elderly residents while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct care and support to residents, including administering medication and communicating with healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized care plans for each resident.
  • Supervising and managing care assistants and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible care for residents.
  • Following all policies and procedures to provide person‐centered care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required.
  • Managing emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift.
Key Requirements
  • NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a nursing home or a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and needs.
