We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled RGN/RMN Staff Nurse to join our team in a UK nursing home. Our ideal candidate will provide excellent care to our elderly residents, ensuring their safety and well-being while demonstrating empathy and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care and support to residents, including administering medication and liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for each resident.
- Supervise and manage other nursing staff and care assistants to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Follow all policies and procedures to provide person-centered care, maintain accurate records, and update care plans as required.
- Prepare to handle emergencies and unexpected situations that may arise during shifts.
Requirements
- Hold NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
