We are in search of a skilled and empathetic RGN or RMN Staff Nurse to join our nursing home team in the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our elderly residents while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication, provide direct care and support to residents, and communicate with healthcare professionals as required.
- Develop individualized care plans and conduct assessments for each resident.
- Oversee and supervise care assistants and other nursing staff to deliver the best possible care for residents.
- Strictly follow policies and procedures to provide person-centered care.
- Maintain accurate records and update care plans when necessary.
- Effectively manage emergencies and unexpected situations during your shift.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.
- At least 1-2 years' experience working in a nursing home or a similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their unique needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cope with changing situations and needs.
