Join our program this summer where you'll design, build and launch model rockets while learning more about aerospace careers, robot rovers, and astronaut space suits!
Sign-up Information
- Ages: 11 to 14.
- Grades 5th grade through 7th grade. Eligibility is based on grade level. This program is for rising 6th- rising 8th graders in the Boston area (current 5th-7th graders who will transition to 6th-8th grade after the program).
- Students must be girls or gender expansive youth.
- Refreshments provided and translation services available - contact the organization for more details.
- Application will release in February. Our programs fill up very quickly, applications accepted on a rolling basis.
- Online registration will be available until the week before the program begins or until spots fill (typically fills by May). All families will be notified of enrollment by mid-June.

This program is free!
Location
The program location changes over time. In-person only. The program will take place in Cambridge at a local school building. The exact building is still to-be-determined (previous years were held at Graham & Parks).
Dates and Times
This program runs during the summer. Monday through Friday. Weekly sessions run 5 days/week from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We typically run two sessions per summer. Dates are still TBD.

3...2...1...BLAST OFF into STEM learning with Science Club for Girls this Summer! As a young rocket scientist you will design, build and launch your own model rockets while learning about aerospace careers, astronaut life and the science behind model rockets!
Our program activities include: Aerospace Projects, Rocket Launches (multiple different types of model rockets including water bottle rockets), Career Panel with Women in STEM and more!
