We're recruiting an AI / Machine Learning Engineering Trainer to join a rapidly growing AI Education team within a global Technology Education business. In this role, you'll train and develop junior/apprentice AI & ML Engineers, helping them build real-world engineering capability across a range of industries. You'll draw on your own applied ML experience to help learners understand how modern AI systems are built, tested and deployed in commercial environments. Your mission is to help transform junior AI / ML talent into confident, capable engineers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, practical training across applied Machine Learning and modern AI engineering concepts
- Support learners across areas such as Python-based ML development, LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and modern MLOps approaches (you don't need to be an expert in every area)
- Help learners understand how models move from experimentation into real-world use
- Translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear, accessible learning experiences
- Coach learners to develop strong engineering habits, problem-solving skills and professional confidence
- Collaborate with Learning & Curriculum teams to keep content aligned with developments in LLMs, agentic AI and emerging tooling as the sector moves
- Stay up to date with all of the latest technical advancements in AI – time will be allocated for this.
You'll need:
- Industry experience as an AI / Machine Learning Engineer (this could include LLMs, NLP, applied ML, GenAI or related specialisms)
- Strong Python and ML fundamentals
- Experience delivering training, mentoring, or coaching (Trainer / Instructor / Tutor / Lecturer / Teacher / Coach / Mentor)
- A genuine passion for developing early-career engineers
- Strong experience in any AI/ML specialism (LLMs, NLP, GenAI, etc.) is welcome. Full end-to-end ML production experience isn't a must.
This is a fully remote working role paying £70,000 - £75,000 & offers one of the best employee benefits lists we've seen in this market.
