Salary and Benefits Salary : £31,000 Location : Home-based with travel Equipment Provided : Laptop and mobile phone Holidays : 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with length of service) Christmas and New Year shutdown period Pension scheme Specsavers scheme NUS Discount Card eligibility £500 Employee referral bonus scheme Enhanced sick pay Maternity reward vouchers Employee wellbeing and assistance programme The Role The Internal Quality Assurer will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality assurance processes for Health & Social Care Apprenticeships. Key responsibilities include: Supporting and mentoring Assessors to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment practices that meet awarding organisation standards. Observing assessment practices and implementing improvements through Quality Development Plans and team standardisations. Monitoring learner progress to ensure timely programme completion while adhering to curriculum standards. Conducting quality assurance checks at key stages of the learner journey. Managing your diary to meet clear KPIs and contributing to overall operational success. Key Attributes Skills and Competencies A passion for education, quality, and standards. Exceptional organisational, time management, and planning skills. The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. A confident, approachable, and professional demeanour. Strong IT skills and proficiency in Literacy and Numeracy. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to engage and motivate both learners and employers. Qualifications and Experience A relevant IQA qualification is essential. Ideally, you will possess a Level 5 Health & Social Care NVQ or equivalent.
