Are you passionate about apprenticeships, employer engagement and building long-term client relationships? We're partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing apprenticeship providers to recruit an Engagement Lead covering key employer accounts across the South of England. This is not a new business sales role. Instead, you'll be responsible for strengthening relationships with existing clients, driving apprenticeship awareness, increasing learner engagement and becoming the trusted face of the business across a portfolio of nationally recognised employers.
The organisation has recently undergone significant investment, completed the acquisition of another major training provider and has ambitious growth plans for the years ahead. As a result, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is investing heavily in its people, programmes and employer partnerships.
The Role
You'll manage a portfolio of approximately 5-6 large employer accounts, working closely with operational stakeholders, store managers and regional leaders to increase apprenticeship participation and engagement. A typical week could involve:
- Running apprenticeship open days and engagement events
- Delivering Q&A sessions with employees and managers
- Building relationships with key decision-makers across multi-site employers
- Creating local engagement plans to increase apprenticeship awareness
- Supporting learner recruitment campaigns
- Acting as the visible face of the training provider within your client accounts
- Working collaboratively with internal delivery and enrolment teams to maximise starts
Success in the role is measured through engagement activity and generating apprenticeship opportunities rather than winning new business.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with individuals who have experience within:
- Apprenticeship training providers
- Employer engagement
- Account management
- Client relationship management
- Apprenticeship recruitment
- Learner attraction and enrolment
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys being in front of customers, building relationships and creating opportunities. The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working within the apprenticeship sector
- Be confident engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Enjoy regular travel and face-to-face interaction
- Be highly organised and self-motivated
- Understand how to drive learner engagement across large employer accounts
- Be passionate about apprenticeships and workforce development
Why Join?
- Join a provider in a significant period of growth and investment
- Work with some of the UK's best-known employer brands
- No cold calling or new business expectations
- High visibility role with genuine autonomy
- Opportunity to influence learner growth across major national accounts
- Be part of a business with exciting expansion plans and a strong leadership team
