The predicted salary is between 45000 - 50000 £ per year.

We are looking for talented Data Analysts or Data Scientists from industry who are passionate about developing others and keen to transition into a coaching-focused role. You do not need prior coaching or teaching experience. The business specialises in hiring strong data professionals and training them to become outstanding coaches through a structured upskilling programme.

As a Data Coach, you will support and mentor apprentices across a range of data disciplines, helping them build both technical capability and professional confidence. You will coach learners in areas you are most comfortable with, which may include:

  • Data Analytics
  • Data Technician
  • Data Engineering
  • Data Science
  • Machine Learning

Alongside this, you will receive ongoing technical training across all data pathways, as well as dedicated development on how to coach effectively — including communication, feedback, learner support and assessment techniques.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coaching and mentoring data apprentices through their learning programmes
  • Supporting learners with technical concepts, projects, and real-world application
  • Tracking learner progress and providing structured feedback
  • Encouraging best practices, problem-solving, and independent thinking
  • Continuously developing your own coaching and technical skillset

What We’re Looking For

  • Background as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar data profession
  • Strong understanding of at least one core data discipline
  • Python programming skills
  • Passion for helping others learn and grow
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
