We are representing one of the largest providers in the training sector, an Ofsted Grade 2 organisation with over 30 years of experience. They deliver training across all four nations of the UK, supporting over 7,000 active apprentices. Recognised as a trusted leader in the field, they are now seeking an experienced Early Years or Adult Care Curriculum Design Specialist to join their team of apprenticeship developers.

Role: Curriculum Design Specialist (Early Years & Adult Care)

  • Location : Remote-based
  • Salary : £33,000 – £37,000 (DOE)

The successful candidate will have experience working in either the Early Years or Adult Care sector and have transitioned into apprenticeships, with exposure to designing and redesigning apprenticeship standards within the Care sector.

Person Specification

  • Industry expert responsible for the training needs analysis process with employers and the technical curation of learning content for all apprenticeship standards and commercial programs.
  • Subject matter expert tasked with the development and continuous improvement of learning resources integrated into a blended learning delivery model.
  • Confident and authentic communicator capable of managing key discussions with internal and external stakeholders at both technical and user-friendly levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a virtual team.
  • An adaptive, innovative thinker with equal focus on content quality and user experience.

Key Technical Skills

  • Proficient in designing and developing apprenticeship and commercial training courses using various methodologies.
  • Skilled in creating innovative curriculum strategies to deliver engaging learner programs and resources.
  • Adept at translating technical L&D requirements into user-friendly language.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: £33,000 – £37,000 (DOE)
  • Pension: 4.5% employer / 4.5% employee contributions
  • Annual Leave: 25 days + bank holidays (increases with service) + options to buy or sell leave
