The role is for an AI / Machine Learning Engineering Trainer / Lecturer, fully remote and UK-based. FIND are recruiting on behalf of a leading Technology & AI Education provider who are scaling their advanced AI/ML Engineering programmes across Higher Education and Degree Apprenticeship routes.
They’re looking for an industry-experienced Machine Learning professional who enjoys teaching, mentoring and developing the next generation of AI/ML Engineers at BSc and MSc level. This role sits at the intersection of real-world ML engineering and Higher Education delivery - ideal for someone who has worked hands-on in industry and now wants to focus on training advanced learners in modern AI/ML technologies.
You’ll be responsible for training AI & Machine Learning Engineering apprentices across dedicated AI/ML programmes and broader Data Science pathways. Using your industry experience, you’ll deliver applied, engineering-focused training across the modern ML stack - helping learners move from theory into production-ready capability.
You’ll cover a broad and evolving AI/ML landscape including:
- Python-based ML engineering & data pipelines
- Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, RAG & Agentic workflows
(Full training will be provided across emerging technologies - they’re not expecting deep expertise in every area!)
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on AI/ML engineering training to BSc & MSc level apprentices
- Translate complex ML concepts into practical, real-world learning experiences
- Coach and mentor learners through projects and applied engineering challenges
- Support apprentices operating within a Higher Education framework
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to continuously evolve content in line with AI/ML trends
- Help shape engineers who are genuinely production-ready
What they’re looking for:
- Strong industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or AI Engineer
- Excellent Python and ML engineering fundamentals
- Experience Teaching, Training, Lecturing, or Coaching (Trainer / Instructor / Lecturer / Guest Lecturer / Tutor / Teacher / Coach)
- Understanding of Higher Education or academic learning environments (lecturing, tutoring, apprenticeships, universities, etc.)
- Passion for wanting to train & develop others in your field
- ML specialism isn’t critical - they value strong engineering foundations and industry credibility above niche focus areas, and can teach the rest.
