I am building a biometric‑first fintech solution designed to enable seamless, secure transactions without the need for phones, cards, or any physical device. The vision is a future where identity itself becomes the payment method. The startup is currently at the idea stage, and I am looking for a CTO or founding engineer to partner with me in bringing this concept to life. You will lead the technical execution while we shape the product direction together. I bring the vision, strategy, and business direction; you bring the technical expertise to turn that vision into a real, scalable product. This is a collaborative founding role where your input will meaningfully influence the product, but the direction is shared.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical strategy, architecture, and early engineering decisions
  • Build and iterate on the MVP (backend, mobile, or full‑stack depending on your strengths)
  • Develop secure biometric authentication flows and identity‑based transaction systems
  • Explore and integrate technologies that enable phone‑free, device‑free payments
  • Collaborate closely with me on product decisions, user experience, and roadmap

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong engineering background (backend, full‑stack, mobile, or ML/biometrics)
  • Experience with authentication, security, or fintech systems is a major advantage
  • Ability to build fast, test hypotheses, and iterate
