Overview

Smart Teachers is looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates to join our trainee teaching assistant SEN programme. This programme is for people wanting to start a career in education, with a specific interest in the SEN division, with no previous experience needed. All the training necessary is provided and free of charge!

About the role

  • The programme is comprised of a paid placement in a school and online training.
  • You will be assigned a consultant to support you through the training and to answer any questions you might have.
  • Successful completion of the programme is likely to lead to long term employment
  • Once completed you will be qualified as a teaching assistant and will be able to work in primary schools across London with Smart Teachers

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant – September you will:

  • Two recent references
  • Be willing to complete online training
  • Have a child workforce only DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
