REClifts is looking for a Lift Fitter/Improver to join our client\’s team in North London. You\’ll be responsible for installing and setting out lift and escalator equipment, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
If you\’re electrically or mechanically qualified but don\’t yet hold an NVQ Level 3, you may be considered for an Improver position – so please apply!

Key Responsibilities of a Lift Fitter/Improver:
- Install lift/escalator equipment, ropes, doors, and frames according to approved procedures
- Perform site surveys and final checks before testing/commissioning
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
- Follow company safety, quality, and health standards
- Attend training and contribute to safety initiatives
Requirements for a Lift Fitter/Improver:
- Proven experience in the Lift Industry
- Valid CSCS card
- Mechanical/electrical background
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication, punctuality, and flexibility
