Job description - Graduate BI Analyst The Graduate BI Analyst / Developer will support the design, development and maintenance of reports and dashboards that deliver insights across the business. This role blends business analysis (understanding stakeholder needs and interpreting data) with hands-on BI development (building and optimising reports in Power BI and SSRS). We are looking for graduates who have already gained exposure to Power BI through projects, internships or academic work, and who are ready to apply these skills in a regulated financial services environment while continuing to develop into a full BI professional. This is a hybrid role based out of their Sevenoaks HQ, with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities - Business Intelligence Analyst

  • Gathering reporting requirements from teams across risk, finance, operations, and compliance.
  • Translating business needs into clear data and reporting specifications.
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports.
  • Writing SQL queries to prepare, validate, and analyse data.
  • Building and refining data models and DAX measures.
  • Ensuring reports are accurate, reconciled, and aligned with business definitions.
  • Documenting report logic, data lineage, and maintaining governance standards.
  • Collaborating with Data Engineers to access curated datasets.
  • Providing first-line support to business users on BI queries.
  • Promoting best practices and self-serve reporting across teams.

Job requirements - Graduate Data Analyst

  • Graduate in Computer Science, Data / Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Exposure to Power BI is essential - you must already be confident using the platform. This can be through projects, coursework, work or internships.
  • Commercial experience in a BI / data-focused role is highly advantageous.
  • Basic experience writing SQL queries.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Confident in explaining findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with SSRS, Excel Power Query, or another reporting tool is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of data modelling and DAX is helpful
  • Awareness of financial services or regulated reporting.
  • A clear passion for technology and a desire for a long-term career in tech.
