An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Miller with experience in online or offline programming to join a growing manufacturing team.
My client, a specialist in a precision engineering company, is offering training in injection mould machining to help you expand your skill set and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and program CNC machines.
- Work with both online and offline programming (experience with either will be considered).
- Machine components to high precision tolerances for various industries.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure optimal machining strategies.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and quality checks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
The Candidate
Essential Skills:
Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
Competency in either online or offline programming
Strong understanding of machining processes and precision work.
Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
An engineering qualification would be desirable
Willing to learn the injection mould process
Desirable Skills:
Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidCAM, MasterCAM, etc.).
Basic understanding of injection mould machining (training will be provided if not).
Apprentice trained
Salary
The salary offered for this position is 30,000- 45,000 plus overtime for a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
