Salary: 25,000 β 30,000
Location: Sheffield
Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-15:30)

Overview:
Metalis are currently supporting a leading engineering company in Sheffield who are seeking an AutoCAD Technician to join their close-knit, supportive design team. The role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years\β experience in technical drawing.
This is a fixed on site office role, the company does not work remote or hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D AutoCAD site layouts and section drawings
- Produce drawings for sheet metal fabrication products
- Assist in developing BOMs and production drawings
- Communicate effectively with engineers, architects, and managers
- Maintain and organise technical documents according to internal processes
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, some basic 3D
- Good telephone manner and communication skills
