The Role Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a number of skilled Mechanical Fitter/Technicians to join a busy manufacturing business in the North Gloucestershire area.

This role would be suitable for Fitters and Technicians who have served a full apprenticeship and hold suitable qualifications to gain stamp holder recognition.

You\'ll need to have clear experience in working on complex assemblies inclusive of hydraulic components, with aerospace experience seen as a major bonus.

Key Responsibilities Mechanical Technician

  • Finding and testing faults of small, complex mechanical systems.
  • Assembling of complex hydraulic products.
  • Reading engineering drawings.
  • Completing Quality Audits.
  • Repairing faulty builds.
  • Inspecting completed work

Key Experience & Qualifications Mechanical Technician

  • Apprentice trained
  • NVQ Level 3 / HNC minimum
  • Proven experience within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Hydraulic component experience
  • Competent at reading and following different set procedures.
  • Competency with a range of assembly tools
  • Hydraulic Testing Experience
