As a key player in the Compliance Testing team, you’ll be responsible for delivering the risk-based assurance plan supervising high-quality thematic review. You’ll work closely with senior management, regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to enhance compliance operations and ensure strong governance across EMEA entities.
The day-to-day:
- Leading technically complex compliance reviews across London and EMEA business areas
- Managing a team, coaching junior staff, and overseeing testing project delivery
- Acting as a subject matter expert on regulatory developments and embedding this knowledge into review practices
- Collaborating with quality assurance, audit, and technology teams to ensure high standards across the board
- Participating in conduct and compliance risk assessments, regulatory implementation projects, and training programs
- Owning the end-to-end remediation process and driving stakeholder engagement
You’ll have:
- Deep expertise in UK and EU regulatory requirements within a banking or financial services context
- Proven experience conducting compliance or conduct risk-based thematic reviews (ideally within a bank)
