We’re working with a fast-growing, tech-enabled UK bank who are looking to hire a Senior Compliance contractor to cover a maternity leave. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CCO, with responsibility for shaping and delivering the Conduct & Regulatory Compliance framework across a digital banking platform serving Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises.
The Opportunity
- Play a key role in maintaining a strong compliance culture while supporting commercial growth across core banking products.
- Provide oversight, challenge and guidance on new product development, financial promotions, regulatory reporting, Consumer Duty and broader conduct risk matters.
- Act as deputy to the CCO where required and line manage a small Compliance team.
Ideal Background
- Experience within a UK bank, FinTech or regulated lender.
- Prior exposure to SME or business banking client segments.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
