Location: London, 4 days per week. 1 from home.
We're working with a high-growth payments fintech on a newly created role. This Compliance Officer hire will support their continued expansion across Europe whilst they gear up for Series D funding.
The Role:
- Product Compliance Advisory – embedding regulatory requirements into new products from design through to launch.
- International Expansion – advising on regulatory and licensing requirements across new markets.
- Regulatory Reporting – managing filings and communications with regulators.
- Policies & Controls – enhancing frameworks, identifying gaps and driving improvements.
- Regulatory Change – interpreting and implementing new regulatory developments
Experience needed:
- Experience working for a scaling EMI, having supported their license application.
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU regulation, specifically PSD2.
- Experience partnering with business functions on product and regulatory matters.
- Process improvement mindset and business-enabler.
