CASS Lead - Compliance (London Area)

We\’re working with a dynamic, fast-moving FX firm at the forefront of cross-border payments. Their mission: to empower global businesses and institutions with seamless and secure currency solutions—fuelled by trust, transparency, and regulatory excellence.

As they scale, they\’re looking for a CASS Lead to own and evolve our regulatory obligations around client assets and money. This is your opportunity to take a strategic leadership role, shape frameworks, and partner cross-functionally to ensure world-class compliance and client protection.

The role:

• Lead the CASS governance framework end-to-end, ensuring compliance with FCA CASS rules (CASS 6 & CASS 7) across all entities and processes.
• Oversee the daily and monthly CASS reconciliations, acknowledgments, and recordkeeping with a laser focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Own policies, procedures, and controls relating to client money and assets—driving continuous improvements and automation where possible.
• Act as the SME to senior management, auditors, and regulators, confidently communicating the CASS compliance position.
• Lead CASS risk assessments, horizon scanning, and readiness for regulatory change—including impact assessments for new products or territories.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a CASS SME or CASS Oversight Officer, ideally with knowledge of payment derivative products.
• Deep knowledge of FCA CASS rules and regulatory expectations, with hands-on experience managing reconciliations and client money workflows.
• Clear communication and stakeholder influence—you’ll be working closely with our COO, CFO, and Product heads.
