Business Analyst - Data Migration & Mapping Location: London - Onsite Contract: 3 months + Rate: £500 per day IR35: Inside IR35 Industry: Financial Services The Role Our Financial Services client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst - Data Migration & Mapping to support a Regulatory Reporting project. You will be responsible for mapping and validating data between a Core Banking Platform and a Regulatory Reporting Platform, ensuring data is accurate, complete and fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities Map data between source and target systems. Understand data structures, relationships and business requirements. Identify data quality issues, including duplicates and missing data. Support data cleansing and standardisation. Perform data validation and reconciliation. Document data mapping rules and requirements. Work with business and technical stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies. Key Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Business Analyst on data migration or data transformation projects. Strong understanding of data mapping and data structures. Experience with data quality, cleansing, validation and reconciliation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder communication skills. Building Society or Banking experience highly desirable.
