UK field-based, primarily covering the Midlands and North. Finclusion is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and well-connected Head of Sales to help us build our dealer network and funded business. This is not a traditional desk-based Head of Sales role, and it is not about managing a large sales team. It is a senior, hands-on commercial position for someone who enjoys being out with dealers, building trusted relationships and turning those relationships into sustainable funded business.

The role

  • You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding and developing high-quality motor dealers across the UK, with a particular focus on the Midlands and North.
  • You will manage those relationships from the first conversation through to activation, helping dealers understand our proposition, submit the right opportunities and grow their funded volume with Finclusion.
  • You will also work closely with our executive and wider commercial teams to shape how we approach dealer acquisition and account management as the business grows.

What you'll be doing

  • Identifying and approaching high-quality independent dealers, dealer groups and other suitable introducers.
  • Using your existing dealer relationships to create early opportunities for Finclusion.
  • Building and managing a healthy pipeline of prospective dealer partners.
  • Meeting dealers face to face and presenting Finclusion's proposition clearly and confidently.
  • Onboarding new dealers and supporting them through their first proposals and payouts.
  • Developing new accounts into active, productive and sustainable partnerships.
  • Managing existing dealer relationships and identifying opportunities to increase funded volume.
  • Helping dealers understand our lending criteria, customer profiles and application process.
  • Working closely with our desk-based sales, underwriting and operations teams to deliver a strong dealer experience.
  • Maintaining accurate activity, account and pipeline information in HubSpot.
  • Monitoring performance across proposals, acceptances, conversions and payouts.
  • Sharing dealer feedback, market intelligence and competitor insight with the leadership team.

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience in motor finance, automotive sales or dealer account management.
  • An established network of motor dealer relationships, particularly across the Midlands and North.
  • A proven ability to win new dealer accounts and develop them into productive relationships.
  • A strong understanding of the motor finance journey, from proposal through to payout.
  • The confidence to discuss lending criteria, customer profiles, conversion and commercial performance.
  • The ability to work independently and manage a large geographical territory.
  • A commercial mindset, balanced with a clear commitment to responsible lending and good customer outcomes.
  • Confidence using CRM systems to manage activity, pipeline and account performance.
  • A collaborative approach and the credibility to represent Finclusion with senior dealer contacts and external partners.
  • Marketing and Brand experience desirable but not essential.
