Site Manager Required ASAP NJC Scale P23-25 (£39,519 - £40,575)
Voluntary Aided NOR: 1250, 300 in 6th Form
Hours of Work: Full time, 52 weeks per year, 36 hours per week (shifts including early mornings, evenings and Saturdays)
Our school is very highly regarded, heavily oversubscribed and enjoys consistently outstanding examination results. Finchley Catholic is a very rewarding place to work with a supportive collegiate atmosphere. The school site is complex with a variety of buildings ranging from the late 1800s to 2026. We also have playing fields at a separate location nearby. There are ambitious plans to develop the site as well as an intensive programme of works planned on existing buildings.
We are looking to appoint a Site Manager who can lead a team of two caretakers and one cleaner, to maintain our school site to the highest standards and play a key role in supporting the development of the site as we head towards our centenary.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing buildings and a site with a good knowledge of services and compliance
- Strong IT skills to manage records and systems online
- The ability to undertake small scale repairs and maintenance
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A 'can-do' approach to running day to day operations with the flexibility to adapt at short notice
- Line management experience and/or experience of overseeing third party contractors
