FinBursa is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with 5 years of experience in fintech, SaaS or within an investment firm to drive strategic growth and build strong partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the investment industry, excel at identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and delivering results in a competitive market. This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in fintech and private markets. This position reports to the Head of Strategy, Business Development and Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets, including engaging potential clients via email, LinkedIn, phone, and at events; scheduling and qualifying discovery calls for the senior sales team; maintaining clean and organized records in our CRM.
  • Pitching and Negotiation: Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and close high-value deals.
  • Build Industry Expertise: Leverage knowledge of the investment industry to align FinBursa’s offerings with client needs and market demands.
  • Reporting: Track activity metrics and provide regular updates on sales pipelines, market opportunities, and client feedback to senior management.
  • Market Expansion: Drive growth by supporting new market entry and strengthening FinBursa’s presence in existing ones.
  • Market Insights: Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to refine business strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align on product offerings and market positioning.

Key Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or the investment industry with a proven track record of success.
  • Good understanding of the investment landscape, including fundraising, deal sourcing, and investor relations or interest in fintech, private markets, private equity, venture capital, or investment advisory.
  • Established connections within the investment industries.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with outreach tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Apollo, Kondo, Clay, etc.).
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong follow-up habits.
  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field (preferred).
