We are working with a growing, international professional services business headquartered in London with offices across Europe, North America, and Asia. The firm provides specialist consulting and advisory services to institutional clients worldwide, delivering tailored solutions across multiple markets. The Role: This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across all aspects of finance: statutory and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, systems and process improvement, tax and compliance, as well as supporting other systems implementation.
- Experience of group consolidations under UK GAAP and IFRS
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft tools
- Post-qualification experience (3+ years) in a small, dynamic finance function
- Experience using automation and AI tools to improve finance processes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the management accountant and credit controller
- Own the implementation and optimisation of NetSuite and related systems (e.g., Salesforce, BambooHR, Payhawk)
- Oversee preparation of group consolidated management accounts and board reporting packs
- Improve quality and speed of management information using new systems
- Lead on revenue recognition, billing, debtor management, and forecasting
- Work closely with the CFO on strategic finance matters, technical accounting, and new product accounting (recurring revenue, subscriptions, data etc.)
- Manage cashflow forecasting and debt provider reporting
- Liaise with overseas accountants to ensure timely reporting and compliance with tax/regulatory obligations
- Oversee payroll, pensions and employee expenses systems (via outsourced providers)
- Manage banking, treasury, and relationships with external providers
- Own the annual audit process and statutory accounts preparation (outsourced, with review responsibility)
- Ensure compliance with FCA and other regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, processes, and controls
