Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the CFO to support the strategic and operational development of the business.

- Drive financial and operational performance insight across multiple business units and assets.
- Enhance management information, KPI reporting and forecasting capability to support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead finance-related data improvement initiatives, including systems optimisation, BI capability and AI-driven enhancements.
- Play a central role in acquisition activity, including financial due diligence, deal support, integration planning and post-deal execution.
- Support value creation initiatives across the group, helping drive scalability and operational efficiency.
- Lead the restructuring, development and upskilling of the finance team, including hiring high-performing talent where required.
- Partner with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to influence performance and drive accountability.
- Support future refinancing, debt/equity raise activity and eventual exit preparation alongside the CFO and investors.
The Requirements:
The business is seeking a technically strong, commercially astute and highly credible finance leader capable of operating effectively within a fast-paced, acquisitive environment. Key requirements include:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent professional finance qualification).
- Demonstrable leadership experience, including building, redeveloping and upskilling finance teams.
- Experience operating within a Private Equity-backed and/or acquisitive multi-asset environment highly advantageous.
- Strong exposure to M&A activity, particularly acquisition integration and post-deal execution.
- Excellent technical finance capability combined with strong commercial acumen.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across complex business structures.
- Experience improving controls, reporting processes and finance infrastructure within a scaling business.
- Passion for leveraging data, systems and technology to improve performance and decision-making.
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating within a high-growth, evolving environment.
