Finatal is partnering with a PE-backed, high-growth SaaS business to appoint a Group Reporting Manager. Headquartered in Epsom and operating a SaaS model with strong recurring revenues, sector-leading EBITDA margins, and an active international expansion strategy, the business is investing in its finance function to support the next phase of growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a senior finance role sitting at the heart of group financial reporting. You will own the consolidation of financial results across the parent company and its subsidiaries, act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and VAT obligations. Partnering closely with senior stakeholders, you will drive the month-end close process, lead board reporting, and champion continuous improvement across financial controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-currency group consolidation and reporting process
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and board-ready financial reporting
  • Lead the external audit process end-to-end, acting as primary auditor contact
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and VAT requirements across the group
  • Maintain and develop robust internal controls to mitigate risk of misstatement
  • Provide technical accounting guidance across the business
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the finance team
  • Support ad hoc projects and strategic finance initiatives as required

Candidate Profile

  • ACA qualified with circa 3 years PQE
  • Proven experience in complex multi-currency consolidations
  • Background in SaaS, tech, or a tech-enabled business strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulae
  • High level of financial systems literacy; experience with Sage, Salesforce, or Xero desirable
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data to senior stakeholders
