Our client, a leading global private markets manager with a well-established and rapidly growing secondaries platform, is seeking a high-calibre Associate to join its London-based investment team. The platform is recognised for its strong presence in GP-led transactions and complex structured solutions, alongside a broad LP secondaries offering. This opportunity is well-suited to candidates from top-tier investment banking or investing backgrounds looking to transition into a highly regarded buy-side franchise with significant scale and deal flow across Europe and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sourcing, screening, and execution of LP-led secondary transactions, GP-led restructurings, and structured opportunities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuations, and investment committee materials
- Conduct rigorous quantitative analysis and support underwriting across complex transaction structures
- Assist with commercial, financial, and legal due diligence processes
- Work closely with senior investment professionals across live transactions
- Support portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- 3-4 years of experience in investment banking (M&A, Leveraged Finance, or Financial Sponsors) or relevant investing roles
- Strong technical, analytical, and financial modelling skills developed in a high-performance environment
- Solid understanding of valuation methodologies, fund structures, and cash flow modelling
- High level of intellectual rigour with the ability to analyse complex transactions and datasets
