To support this next phase, the company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team and partner closely with the CEO and investors.

The Role

The CFO will take full ownership of the finance function while acting as a strategic and commercial partner to the CEO and Board. This is a broad, hands‑on role combining financial leadership, operational rigour and commercial insight, with significant exposure to the private equity sponsor. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping strategy, driving performance and supporting the business through its next stage of scale and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a best‑in‑class finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, governance and reporting in line with PE standards
  • Own all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash management
  • Deliver clear, insightful reporting to the Board and private equity investors, including KPI frameworks and performance analysis
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting commercial decision‑making, pricing, margin improvement and investment cases
  • Play a lead role in M&A activity, including financial due diligence, deal structuring, integration and post‑acquisition performance tracking
  • Support operational teams with financial insight to drive efficiency, scalability and profitability
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including lenders, advisors, auditors and tax specialists
  • Ensure the business is well prepared for future exit planning, whether through further investment or sale

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within a private equity–backed environment
  • Background in managed services, outsourced services, or similar recurring‑revenue B2B models, ideally serving high‑growth sectors
  • Strong track record of working closely with investors and Boards, with the gravitas to influence at executive level
  • Commercially minded finance leader, able to translate numbers into strategic insight and action
  • Experience supporting growth strategies involving operational scale, margin improvement and M&A
