A leading, FCA-regulated financial technology platform serving the alternative investment industry is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join its Commercial team in London. The business provides infrastructure supporting private market fund distribution, investor onboarding, and operational scalability. Backed by a major global financial services group, the platform is playing a central role in modernising access to private funds as institutional and individual capital flows continue to accelerate.
This is a client-facing commercial role offering exposure to private markets, fund structures, and platform-led growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the conversion of leads into new client relationships
- Build, manage, and progress a commercial pipeline aligned with growth targets
- Assist in preparing and delivering client pitches, proposals, and sales materials
- Engage with prospective clients across asset management, fund administration, and distribution
- Coordinate with internal Product and Operations teams to support client onboarding and delivery
- Maintain momentum across active opportunities and manage deal progression end-to-end
- 7+ years’ experience in a client-facing role within financial services, fintech, consulting, or banking
- Exposure to private markets, alternative investments, or fund structures preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Commercially minded with strong relationship management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
