Finatal is partnered with an exciting, entrepreneurial growth credit fund who are looking to add a new senior investor to their dynamic, entrepreneurial team. This role offers a unique opportunity to carve out your own space within an established but fast-growing platform, supporting technology start-ups across Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of originating and executing debt/credit deals for growth stage or mid-market sponsor-backed businesses.
Responsibilities
- Origination: sourcing deals and supporting expansion into new markets across Europe.
- Execution: due diligence, financial monitoring and all other transaction workstreams.
- Portfolio management: post-investment monitoring, taking board seats etc.
- Overseeing and training junior members of the team.
- Working closer with Partners and senior leadership team on wider platform strategy.
The Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in credit-focused strategies as an investor.
- Thorough understanding of different debt structures and toolkit (leverage ratios, covenants etc).
- Ambitious, self-starting attitude.
- European language is a plus but not a necessity.
