Finatal are partnered with a PE‑backed, multi‑channel retail and e‑commerce business (c.£70m turnover) on the search for an FP&A Manager. The business operates across online, wholesale and international channels and is continuing to scale under private equity ownership. This role sits within a commercially focused finance team and supports decision‑making across trading, supply chain and growth initiatives.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will deliver high‑quality FP&A and commercial insight across the business. The role blends core FP&A with hands‑on analysis of trading performance, margins, inventory and supply‑chain dynamics in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting cycles.
- Deliver weekly and monthly trading performance reporting and variance analysis.
- Provide commercial insight across revenue, margins, costs and working capital.
- Analyse inventory, stock turns, sell‑through and supply‑chain performance.
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to support decision‑making.
- Build and maintain financial models to support pricing, promotions and investment decisions.
- Support continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting and analysis.
About You
- Background in FP&A or Commercial Finance.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Experience within retail, e‑commerce or supply‑chain‑led environments.
- Strong analytical and financial‑modelling capability.
- Commercial mindset with confidence engaging non‑finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a PE‑backed, fast‑growth business.
