Finatal is partnering with a leading science-led investment platform focused on backing and building high-impact life sciences businesses emerging from world-class research environments. Following continued growth, the team is seeking an Investment Associate to support investment execution and company development across its life sciences portfolio. This is an opportunity to gain exposure across early-stage investing, company creation, and portfolio value creation within a highly collaborative venture environment.
The Role
- Evaluate life sciences and biotechnology investment opportunities
- Conduct commercial, scientific, and financial diligence
- Build financial models and investment committee materials
- Support portfolio companies on strategic and fundraising initiatives
- Work closely with senior investors and founding teams
Candidate Profile
- 2-3 years’ experience in VC, healthcare/life sciences investing or consulting (MBB or L.E.K.)
- PhD / DPhil is required
- STEM or Life Sciences academic background preferred
- Strong analytical and modelling capability
- Demonstrable interest in innovation-led investing
- Collaborative and intellectually curious mindset
