We are supporting a highly regarded, private equity backed multiāsite business with c.Ā£100m turnover in the appointment of an Interim Tax Specialist to support a critical period of change and compliance activity. This is a handsāon, commercially focused assignment working closely with the CFO and wider finance leadership team, with particular emphasis on US tax exposure and crossāborder considerations.
Key responsibilities
- Ownership and oversight of corporate tax compliance and reporting across a multiāentity, multiāsite group
- Managing US tax exposure including federal, state and withholding considerations
- Supporting transfer pricing, intercompany and crossāborder tax matters
- Reviewing current tax processes, identifying risk and implementing improvements
- Acting as the key point of contact with external advisors and HMRC
- Providing clear, practical tax guidance to senior stakeholders
We are looking for
- A qualified or highly experienced tax professional with strong UK and US tax exposure
- Proven experience operating within multiāentity, multiāsite organisations (education, healthcare, consumer, or similar environments welcomed)
- Handsāon, commercially minded and comfortable operating in fastāpaced, change environments
- Immediately available or available at short notice
