A leading global alternative investment firm is seeking to hire a VP/+ level professional to join its Investor Relations team in London. This is a senior, highly client-facing role focused on institutional investor coverage across Europe and the Middle East, supporting fundraising and strategic relationship management for a well-established secondaries platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing LP relationships, driving capital raising initiatives, and acting as a senior representative of the platform across private equity and broader private markets strategies. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, institutional investors, and high-profile secondary transactions within a growing international business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deepen relationships with institutional investors across Europe and the Middle East
- Drive fundraising and capital raising initiatives across secondaries strategies, including private equity and opportunistic transactions
- Act as a senior point of contact for existing and prospective LPs, delivering market insights, portfolio updates, and strategic messaging
- Coordinate and oversee investor due diligence processes, responding to complex information requests with accuracy and professionalism
- Partner closely with investment and leadership teams to communicate transaction activity, portfolio developments, and market trends
- Support the preparation of investor presentations, marketing materials, and fundraising documentation
- Contribute to the development and execution of the firm’s broader investor engagement strategy
- Mentor junior members of the Investor Relations team and help enhance internal processes and best practices
Candidate Profile:
- Significant experience within Investor Relations, fundraising, or institutional coverage roles across secondaries
- Strong understanding of secondaries transactions, fund structures, and private markets investing
- Proven ability to manage and develop relationships with sophisticated institutional investors across EMEA
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a senior, client-facing environment
- Highly commercial, proactive, and capable of managing multiple workstreams within a fast-paced platform
- Additional European language skills are highly desirable, particularly German
