Regional Financial Controller in London

Finatal are working exclusively with a recently acquired PE backed global manufacturing business. They\’re looking for a hands‐on and technical Regional Financial Controller to oversee and be the face of finance for 2 sites based in Northern Europe. Reporting in to the Group Controller this candidate will be instrumental in improving processes, upskilling the team and overseeing day‐to‐day finance.Key Responsibilities Act as the technical finance lead for 2 manufacturing sitesManage and develop Site Accountants.Own monthly close, reporting, and financial control for both entitiesLead statutory compliance, audit processes, and liaison with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisorsStrengthen and maintain financial controls, processes, and governance at plant levelSupport the implementation of standard costing and improved cost visibilityProvide hands‐on financial support to operations, particularly at the UK siteOversee multi‐entity reporting and coordination with external service providersCandidate Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Strong manufacturing finance experienceSolid background in statutory reporting, audit, and financial controlsUK GAAP experienceComfortable operating in a fast‐paced environment.Hands‐on, solutions‐oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skillsExperience with standard costing (Ideally)Exposure to PE‐backed or PLC environmentsSeniority level Mid‐Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function FinanceIndustries Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals
