I am working exclusively with a large-cap, Private Equity-backed Fintech (c.£20m revenue) based in London that is looking to hire a Management Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth, commercially driven business during a key phase of its scale-up journey.
You’ll be joining a capable finance function and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, supporting both core reporting and forward-looking commercial analysis.
The RoleThis is a broad and hands-on Management Accountant position with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-making. Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Ownership of management reporting packs for senior leadership and investors
- Building, maintaining and improving complex Excel-based financial models
- Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
- Providing commercial analysis and insights to support business decisions
- Business partnering with stakeholders across finance, operations and commercial teams
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiency
This role will suit someone who is technically strong, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
- ACA qualified with Big 4 training (must-have)
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Advanced Excel modelling skills (comfortable building models from scratch)
- Prior experience in a SaaS or Fintech business
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to hit the ground running
