The Opportunity
We are partnering with a high-growth, large-cap private equity–backed financial services business to recruit a Senior FP&A Manager. This is a pivotal role within a sophisticated finance function, offering significant exposure to senior leadership, investors, and board-level decision-making. You will play a key role in driving performance, shaping strategy, and supporting the business through an ongoing private equity value-creation cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A function, delivering best-in-class budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Own the monthly performance cycle, providing insightful analysis and clear commentary for ExCo, Board, and PE stakeholders
- Partner closely with senior commercial and operational leaders to drive performance and accountability
- Build and refine financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment cases, and M&A activity
- Support PE requirements including lender reporting, covenant monitoring, and value creation initiatives
- Enhance reporting, systems, and processes to scale with the business
- Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team
About You
- Proven experience in a Senior FP&A / Head of FP&A / Finance Business Partnering role within financial services
- Experience working within a private equity–backed business, with a strong understanding of the PE lifecycle (entry, value creation, exit)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at senior stakeholder level
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
