We're looking for a hands-on Interim IT Director to lead internal technology in a fast-moving, PE-backed environment. You'll lead a team of c.12 across BAU IT, service desk, onboarding, systems management, data platforms, warehousing and cyber. This is a delivery-led role, around 75% execution and leadership and 25% strategy.
You'll partner closely with the business and an internal value creation team to execute transformation, not just design it. The role has a strong focus on cyber resilience, internal systems, data platforms and practical AI adoption.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and developing the internal IT team
- Owning day-to-day delivery across internal technology
- Driving execution of agreed transformation initiatives
- Acting as a pragmatic business partner to senior stakeholders
- Maintaining pace and standards across cyber and risk
What we're looking for:
- Proven Interim IT Director or senior IT leader
- Comfortable being hands-on and leading from the front
- Strong stakeholder management and attention to detail
- Action-oriented, confident, low-ego leadership style
- PE or fund experience not required
