We are supporting a high growth multisite business preparing for an upcoming exit, backed by a well-known midâmarket PE fund. With turnover of around ÂŁ60 million, the business is now looking for an experienced FP&A Consultant with a background in Transaction Servicesâideally from a Big 4 firmâto support the Finance Director and CFO in building a clear, investorâready financial picture.
This is a highâimpact, handsâon role focused on getting the business exitâready. You will support strategic planning and analysis, while leading on the financial workstreams of the transaction processâincluding preparing the business for external diligence.
Key responsibilities include:- Building and refining robust, investorâgrade financial models
- Preparing data packs and financial analysis for potential buyers and advisors
- Leading data cleansing efforts to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems and reports
- Supporting data room preparation, including collation, structuring, and ongoing management of core documentation
- Supporting the financial due diligence process, including responding to queries and preparing key analyses
- Collaborating with external advisors (e.g., corporate finance, legal, diligence providers)
- Supporting scenario planning, valuation analysis, and deal structuring discussions
You will bring a strong analytical mindset, topâtier financial modelling skills, and a keen understanding of how to prepare a business for a successful sale process. Experience in Transaction Services or Deal Advisory is key.
Ideal profile:- ACAâqualified (or equivalent), ideally trained in a Big 4 Transaction Services or Corporate Finance team
- Experience preparing companies for exit, including due diligence and data room setup
- Advanced Excel and modelling capabilities
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- PEâbacked business experience is a strong plus
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and dealing with senior stakeholders
